Aural Mountain, located in Kampong Speu Province, is Cambodia's tallest peak at 1,813 meters (5,948 feet). It is a popular destination for hiking, camping, and bird watching, and is home to endangered species like the Cambodian Laughingthrush. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to April when the weather is clear and sunny. Be prepared for a long hike, bring rain gear and sunscreen, and respect the environment.
- Leave Phnom Penh at 4:30 a.m. to the local community. - Breakfast break on the way (not included) - Arriving at the local village at 8:00 a.m. - Prepare your stuff and take the tractor to the hiking spot for 2 hours. - Having lunch on the way with your packed lunch from the village - Continue to hike to campsite 2nd for 4 hours more. - Spend a night at Campsite 2nd with our tent. - Team building for trash collection around the campsite - Dinner gathering and campfire
- Getting up early at 6:00 am - Breakfast with tea, coffee then leaving for summit point - Lunch break at summit point with lunch packed from our campsite - After the summit, we continued to visit the plane crash site - Continue to visit Rada Hill if we have the time. - Then back to our campsite 2nd Dinner gathering and campfire.
- Waking up at 6:00 am for sunrise - Have breakfast with tea & coffee and pack your lunch box for going down to the village at 8:00 am - Lunch on the way - Arriving at the foot of the mountain, shower if we have time. - Arriving in the village at 4 p.m., then back to Phnom Penh, arriving at 9 p.m.
