Virachey National Park, one of only two ASEAN Heritage Parks, spans 3,380.57 km2 and is largely unexplored. It encompasses Ratanakiri and Stung Treng Provinces and is managed by the Cambodian Ministry of Environment. The park is home to diverse wildlife, waterfalls, and mountains, including rare and endangered species like the northern yellow-cheeked crested gibbon and the Siamese crocodile.
- Departure from PP at 19:00 pm at the National Pediatric Hospital - Toward Taveng District, Ratanakiri Province (Sleep on the bus) - Arrive at the community at 6:00 am on Day 2 and prepare for hiking to the campsite by motorcycle.
- Breakfast at the market and pack your own lunch box at 6:00 am. - Prepare stuff and take it on the van to the ferry station of the passing river there. - Departure from the ferry Site by motorcycle with your own local driver - Lunch break along the trail - Trek from base mountain to Campsite about 9km - Expected to reach the campsite around 3 p.m. - Camping on the summit to enjoy the sunset and views - Dinner gathering at 19:00 pm - Camp fire and learn about the community and their language.
- Get up and enjoy landscapes with the sunrise. - Breakfast and Coffee with landscapes - Prepare your stuff for another community campsite. - Take a shower, pack your own lunch box, and trek around. - Back to the lunch cooking station - Go to visit other viewpoints around this area. - Continue to the next campsite. - Enjoying panoramic landscapes Shower, dinner, and campfire
- Get up early to enjoy the landscape. - Breakfast and coffee break on the summit - Pack your own backpack and tent back to the village at 8:00 a.m. - Pack your own lunch box and refill the water. - Have lunch along the trail. Reach National Park Station around 2 p.m. - Back to Phnom Penh and expect to reach there at 23:00 pm.
