Ministry of Tourism introduces street food business to boost service quality for the ASEAN Para Games

Following the 32nd SEA Games, the Ministry of Tourism continued to promote and train street food vendors for the 12th ASEAN Para Games and the “Visit Cambodia Year 2023” campaign with the participation of the capital-provincial administration, department of tourism, relevant units and street food vendors.

During the promotion and training, the Ministry of Tourism requested tour companies and street food vendors to:

* Arrange its business in a way that showcases the Khmer nation’s culture, traditions, and customs.

* Assist in keeping things in order and paying close attention to food hygiene for both the regular sales of food and the 12th ASEAN Para Games in 2023.

* A list of services is available in three languages, including English, Khmer, and any additional language.

* The owner or manager of the tourism business is not permitted to increase their service cost unless there is a valid justification.

* Take part in putting Circular No. 005 on Improving Hospitality Services to celebrate the 12th ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia into action.

At the same time, the Ministry of Tourism also distributed clothes to protect and maintain hygiene while cooking to street vendors who attended the training and to the Department of Tourism for distribution of 250 shirts per destination. Fresh News
